When you visit our office, your eye health is our top priority. We offer a variety of refractive surgery and general ophthalmology treatments to help restore and maintain your optimal vision health.
Castleman Eye Center is a full service ophthalmology practice that specializes in diseases and surgery of the eyes. We also perform routine vision exams. We have been in practice in the Taylor (Downriver) area for 37 years and our practice has grown, mostly through referrals from our happy patients. We are very proud of this and strive to deliver the best possible eye care to you and your family. Our patients travel from various cities in Michigan and beyond to see our experienced physicians.

Our offices are open Monday thru Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with extended hours until 7:00 p.m. on Mondays at our Taylor location.

About your first visit
We strive to provide you and your family with the best possible patient experience. Please arrive ten minutes early so that our staff can gather the necessary information and verify your insurance. You may print out and complete the new patient paperwork located in the Patient Forms section of this website.
What to bring
Castleman Eye Center participates with most major insurance companies. However, it is very important that you understand your specific insurance policy and adhere to any requirements such as obtaining a referral prior to your appointment. Please bring your drivers license, insurance cards (medical and vision), referral if applicable and new patient paperwork.
